A Creative and Collaborative Space for ALL Artists to Enjoy!
Morada Way Clay Studio/Gallery a shared co-op that is managed by John Dietsch with the help of studio members, Gallery artists. Everyone shares in the responsibility for the upkeep of the facility. Members become part of a creative community and in our studio you get the chance to work independently in your own space and to your own schedule. We welcome both beginners and the more advanced to come and create through hand building or on the wheel.
To enable Snow Birds and the local community to make the most of the pottery studios Morada Way Clay offers studio rental space on a monthly basis. Membership will entitle you to a key to access the building 24/7, personal storage space, use of shared common area, slab roller, 2 potter’s wheels and 2 electric kilns (cone 6 or lower only) and limited access to glazes. You will be able to offer your finished work for sale in the shared Pottery Gallery (upon approval). There is a percentage fee on all sales; commission is on sliding scale, depending on volunteer time given at the facility. It is a unique gathering space where the community and artists can all share a common joy of working in clay. “This is a judgement-free zone”
